Apartment N43, Moura Praia, Vilamoura – Booking Terms and ConditionsAll apartment bookings are subject to the following terms and conditions. BookingAll bookings must be accompanied by a 25% deposit. The final balance and the security deposit are payable 8 weeks before the commencement of the holiday. If this is not received by the due date we reserve the right to cancel the booking. Bookings within eight weeks of departure must be accompanied by the full cost. Bookings cannot be accepted from persons less than eighteen years of age. We (the owners) reserve the right to refuse a booking without giving any reason. Bookings for less than 6 nights in peak periods may be accepted at our discretion. Transaction and currency conversion charges must be paid by the client and should be added to any payments. Only the net amount received to our account will be counted as payment towards the cost of the booking. CancellationsAll cancellations must be notified as soon as possible by email or post. Cancellations are subject to the following charges:
Please ensure that you have adequate travel insurance in case your travel plans are disrupted. In the case of the booked accommodation becoming unavailable or unusable due to circumstances beyond our control we will refund the cost of the accommodation but we will not be responsible for any other costs or losses incurred. Security deposits will be returned for cancelled bookings net of any transaction charges. Care of the PropertyThis apartment is privately owned. We expect all guests to enjoy the facilities and treat the apartment with the same respect that they would with their own house. Guests are required to take all reasonable and proper care of the property and its fixtures and fittings, furniture and effects and leave them in the same state of repair and condition at the end of the rental period as at the beginning. You are required to take good care of all keys and access cards given to you and return them at the end of your stay. Any damages and breakages are your responsibility and will be charged for. Lost gate cards will be charged at 20 euros per card. Lost keys will be charged at the cost of replacing locks. Guests also agree to indemnify the owners against any claims by third parties for damage to property within the Moura Praia complex. Security DepositThe security deposit as notified is required with the final booking instalment. This will be held by us and returned to you within 14 days of the end of your stay subject to any reasonable deductions for any damage caused to the apartment including fixtures and fittings and furniture and effects over and above normal wear and tear. In order to keep our costs down deposits will be returned by online transfer and you will be required to provide your bank details. The security deposit will be returned net of any transaction charges incurred. ServicesThe price includes the accommodation, electricity, gas and water charges, cable TV, linen and bathroom towels. Bed linen and towels are changed weekly. Guests are requested to provide their own beach towels. Travel InsuranceWe strongly advise that you take out travel insurance so that you do not suffer financial loss in the event of a cancellation or force majeure. Use of AccommodationThe number of persons using the apartment at any time must not exceed six. Only named people advised to us are permitted to occupy the accommodation. Smoking and pets are not permitted inside the apartment. We reserve the right to terminate the contract without notice and without refund in case of a breach of this condition. Guests are required to comply with the regulations of the Moura Praia owners association and managing agents. Right of AccessWe or our representatives reserve the right to visit the apartment at any time and gain access for inspection purposes, for viewings, to undertake essential maintenance or to access items in locked store cupboards. Period of HireAccess to the apartment is normally from 5.00 pm unless otherwise agreed, and guests are required to vacate the apartment by 11.00 am on the day of departure. This is to allow the accommodation to be thoroughly cleaned and prepared for incoming guests. LiabilityWe cannot be held responsible for any accident, loss, damage, injury, expense or inconvenience sustained during or arising from your stay in the accommodation, however caused. All personal property is left in the apartments at your own risk. No term of the contract is enforceable under the Contracts (Rights of The Third Parties) Act 1999 by a person who is not a party to the contract. MisrepresentationWhilst every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the contents of our website and any brochures or documents prepared by the company we do not accept responsibility for any errors or inaccuracies. OwnershipThe apartment is privately owned and the owners have no connection with the developers of the Moura Praia complex. |
